A Ghuson custom textile is a collaboration. Together, we turn your ideas into a piece that reflects your taste, your space, and the rhythm of handwoven craft. Every textile is made entirely by hand on my manual loom, making each piece unique.

Before We Begin – What to Know About Your Custom Piece

When creating a custom textile, here’s what to expect:

  • We Discuss First: We’ll talk through your ideas, your space, and your vision, and explore what’s possible within the weaving process.

  • Get Inspired: Previous Ghuson pieces can serve as inspiration for colors, patterns, or textures, but your piece will be entirely your own.

  • Handmade, With Artistic Touch: Every textile is woven by hand. Small variations and my artistic interpretation will naturally appear, making your piece one-of-a-kind.

  • Unique Outcome: The final woven piece is a collaboration between your ideas and my hands — your vision guided by my craft and expertise.

How the Process Works

  1. Share Your Idea
    Send me a description of what you’re imagining — colors, patterns, size, or inspiration. Photos or sketches are welcome.

  2. I Plan the Design
    I select yarns, textures, and patterns to translate your concept into a handwoven textile.

  3. Review Together
    We review the plan together before weaving begins. This ensures your ideas are reflected while honouring the handmade process.

  4. Weaving and Finishing
    I weave the textile entirely by hand, then wash and finish it carefully to enhance texture, durability, and softness.

Timing

Custom orders take about one to two months from confirmed design to delivery. Once a piece leaves the workshop, it cannot be altered or returned, but I’m happy to discuss any concerns along the way.

Payment

  • Deposit: 40% to begin (non-refundable)

  • Remaining Balance: 60% before shipment
    All transactions are secure and include 21% VAT

Shipping

Your textile will be packaged with care and sent via courier with tracking. Delivery times depend on location.
