A smaller handwoven rug made from two very different natural fibres: soft cotton and rustic jute.

I love the contrast between them. The cotton brings softness and a gentle touch, while the jute adds a more irregular, earthy texture and gives the rug a little more character. Together, the two materials create a surface that feels both natural and surprisingly soft.

Its smaller size makes it easy to place in different corners of the home — next to a bed, in an entrance, beside a sink, or in a bathroom where it can bring some warmth and texture to the space. As with any natural jute piece, it is best kept away from prolonged moisture and allowed to dry properly if it gets damp.

Woven by hand on a restored traditional loom, each piece has its own small variations in texture and appearance.

If you’d like to return or exchange an item, please contact me within 10 days of receiving your order at ghusonart@gmail.com Returned pieces must be in their original condition, unused and undamaged. Once I receive the item, I’ll process your refund or exchange. Refunds cover the product cost only, not the shipping fees. Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are covered by the buyer. Before ordering, please make sure you’ve selected the right option — I’m happy to help if you’re unsure. Because each piece is handcrafted, custom-made or made-to-order items can’t be returned.

Every order is shipped with a tracking number, so you can follow its journey. Once the parcel leaves my studio, it’s handled by the courier service. While I can’t control possible postal delays, I’ll always help you track and resolve any issue if something doesn’t arrive as expected. If your package takes longer than the estimated delivery time, please send me a message and I’ll look into it right away.
